Do you provide transportation to the facility?

Yes, we provide transportation from any location to our center.

Our amenities include massage therapy, hydrotherapy, a culinary chef, a movie theater, wellness center, game rooms, and various recreational facilities.

Can I use my phone or laptop during treatment?

We allow access to cellphones and laptops for work and personal needs under staff supervision, ensuring it does not interfere with the clinical day from 9 am to 3 pm.

Is family therapy available?

Yes, we offer family therapy sessions and encourage involving loved ones in the recovery process. However, we do not allow spouses or significant others to attend treatment together due to potential conflicts of interest.

What support is available for employment concerns during treatment?

We assist with applying for the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and ensure that your employment and legal concerns are managed while maintaining confidentiality.

What happens after the residential treatment program?

After residential treatment, you can transition into Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and then to Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient treatment, with flexible programs tailored to your schedule. We also offer a supportive Alumni Program for ongoing connection and support.

What is the intake process like at The Robert Alexander Center?

Upon arrival, we begin with a comprehensive health assessment, and our Family Therapist contacts your loved ones. A Case Manager will assist with any legal or employment issues while you’re in treatment.

How long is the typical treatment program at The Robert Alexander Center?

Our programs typically last 21 to 30 days, which statistically gives the best chance for long-term sobriety. We do not recommend short-term detox-only programs as they show little success.

Are there specific therapies for dual diagnosis at The Robert Alexander Center?

Yes, as a dual diagnosis facility, we treat co-occurring disorders by addressing any underlying trauma or mental health issues that contribute to addiction, through individual and group therapy sessions.

Yes, as an executive program, we allow clients to work, check emails, and manage their businesses. You can access your phone or laptop in the presence of a staff member, provided it does not interfere with your clinical day.

What kind of medical care is available during detox and treatment?

We provide 24/7 medical care with a ratio of up to 3 clients per nurse, ensuring personalized and attentive care. Detox is managed with taper medications to minimize withdrawal symptoms, overseen by a team of medical professionals.
